Hermetic philosophy, although there are numerous references to it in many books written on various stages of occultism. And yet, Hermetic Philosophy is the only master key that will open all doors to the Secret Teachings!
In the early days, there was a compendium of some basic didactic doctrines, passed down from teacher to student, known as “the Qiblion”, the exact significance and meaning of the term having been lost over many centuries. However, this teaching is known to many people to whom it has been passed from mouth to ear, for centuries.
As far as we know, its teachings have never been written down or printed. It was simply a collection of aphorisms, aphorisms, and sermons, incomprehensible to outsiders, but easily understood by students following the aphorisms, aphorisms, and sermons.

In this little book, of which this is the first lesson, we invite our students to examine the Hermetic teachings as set forth in The Kibalion, and as explained by us, humble students of the teachings, The initiates, bearing that title, are still students at the feet of the master, Hermes.
Here we give you many aphorisms, principles, and precepts of KYBALION. With explanations and illustrations that we feel will make the teachings more easily understood by modern students, especially as an original text.
Deliberately veiled in vague words. The original aphorisms, axioms, and precepts of KYBALION are printed here in italics, with proper attribution being given. Our own work is printed in the body of the work, in a regular manner.
We are sure that the many students to whom we now present this little work will find it equally useful to study its pages.
As many have done before, Hermes Trismegistus—the Master of Masters—is walking the same path to mastery that has passed since the time of the Great. In the words of “The Kibalion”:
“Where the Guru’s feet fall, the ears of those ready for his teachings open.” Kab Aloin
“When the ears of the student are ready to listen, then the lips come to fill them with knowledge.” Kab Aloin
So that according to the teachings, by making this book accessible to people ready for instruction, the attention of those who are ready to receive the teaching will be attracted. And, similarly, when the disciple is ready to receive the truth, then this little book will come to him. Such is the law.
The Hermetic principle of cause and effect, in its aspect of the law of attraction, would bring together the lips and the ears—bringing together the student and the book. so mote it be!
I. Theory of mind
“Everything is mind; the universe is mental.” Kybalian.
This principle embodies the truth that “all is mind.” It states that everything (that is, the vital reality underlying all external manifestations and appearances) is what we know under the terms “physical universe”; “phenomena of life”; “matter”; “energy”; and, in short, , all that is apparent to our physical senses) is the soul which in itself is unknown and undefined, but which can be perceived and thought of as a universal, infinite, living mind. It also clarifies that the phenomenal world or universe is only a mental creation of everyone, subject to the laws of creation.

This theory, by establishing the mental nature of the universe, readily explains all those sundry mental and mental phenomena which occupy so great a part of the attention of the public, and which, without such an explanation, cannot be understood. come and defy scientific treatment.
An understanding of this great didactic principle of the mind enables one to easily understand the laws of the mental universe and apply them to one’s own well-being and progress.
The Hermetic student is able to apply the Great Mental Laws intelligently rather than haphazardly. Retaining the master key, student. can open many doors enter the mental and psychic temple of knowledge and enter into it freely and wisely.
This doctrine explains the true nature of “energy,” “power,” and “matter” and why and how they are all subject to the mastery of the mind. One of the old Hermetic Masters wrote long ago: “He who grasps the truth of the mental nature of the universe is well advanced on the path of mastery.”
And these words are as true today as they were when they were first written. Without this master key, mastery is impossible, and the student enters Vain on the many doors of the temple.
