Some Important Instructions Regarding Admission

The department has not allowed any kind of deviation from the schedule
Every school is required to display the schedule of admission on the website and notice board

All private schools are required to adopt an admission procedure that is reasonable, well-defined, equitable, non-discriminatory, unambiguous, and transparent
The private unaided recognized schools are required to upload their criteria adopted for Admission under the open seat at entry-level classes for the academic session 2023-24 on the website that is www.edudel.nic.in . This information must be uploaded before 14th December 2021.
The criteria-wise breakup of points of all the applicant children should be displayed on the website
The admission criteria should be in compliance with the provision of the Rights of Persons with disability act 2016 in respect of the admission of children with disability
The criteria and the points that are uploaded by the schools on the portal should be available for public viewing by the parents
The information available on the website should be accurate

Other Instructions

The private unaided recognized schools are also required to upload the details of children who have applied for admission under open seats and points allowed to each of them by the schools and their points system
The draw of lots should be conducted in a fair and transparent manner in the presence of parents
The parents will be informed about the draw in advance
The draw will be conducted under videography and its footage will be retained by the school

Therefore schools have to follow a single admission process for their preschool and main School considering them as one institution
The number of seats at the entry level should not be less than the highest number of seats in the entry class during the previous three years
Under the chairmanship of the concerned deputy director, a project monitoring cell will be constituted in each district that will ensure that every private unaided school must upload the criteria and points on the online module available on the directorate website as per the prescribed time limit
