The Matsya Stotra is a devotional hymn to the worship of the Matsyavatara form (“fish incarnation”) of Lord Vishnu. Matsyavatara is one of the Dashavatara of Lord Vishnu.
nūnaṁ tvaṁ bhagavān sākṣāddharirnārāyaṇō:’vyayaḥ |
anugrahāyabhūtānāṁ dhatsē rūpaṁ jalaukasām || 1 ||
namastē puruṣaśrēṣṭha sthityutpatyapyayēśvara |
bhaktānāṁ naḥ prapannānāṁ mukhyō hyātmagatirvibhō || 2 ||
sarvē līlāvatārāstē bhūtānāṁ bhūtihētavaḥ |
jñātumicchāmyadō rūpaṁ yadarthaṁ bhavatā dhr̥tam || 3 ||
na tē:’ravindākṣapadōpasarpaṇaṁ
mr̥ṣā bhāvētsarva suhr̥tpriyātmanaḥ |
yathētarēṣāṁ pr̥thagātmanāṁ satāṁ
-madīdr̥śō yadvapuradbhutaṁ hi naḥ || 4 ||
iti śrīmadbhāgavatē caturviṁśatitamādhyāyē matsya stōtram ||
