About Apollo Pipes
Apollo was one of the first companies to launch chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) pipes in India in 2008. CPVC can withstand higher temperatures than standard PVC pipes, expanding applications for hot and cold potable water delivery.
All Apollo pipes are made from high-quality virgin PVC resin instead of recycled resin, ensuring consistent quality and performance. Their resins and additives conform to global standards set by organizations such as ASTM.
Apollo uses certain proprietary manufacturing processes such as spark testing and ring flexibility testing to ensure that the pipe structure is defect-free. Spark testing detects any small pinhole leaks by applying high voltage.
Apollo PVC pipe has a co-extruded inner layer made from a special titanium dioxide formula. This inner layer provides additional chemical, impact, and thermal resistance compared to normal PVC pipes.
For some large-diameter sewerage pipes, Apollo uses a profile wall technology instead of a standard solid wall. This profile wall design provides increased pipe stiffness and crush resistance while using less raw material.
Apollo offers exceptionally long warranty coverage against defects on its PVC and CPVC system components, up to 30 years depending on the application. This highlights the company’s confidence in the longevity of its piping products.
CPVC Pipes & Fittings
APL Apollo CPVC Pipes & Fittings are the perfect solution for hot and cold potable water distribution requirements in residential, commercial, and industrial spaces with a host of advantages over the conventional piping system.
CPVC Pipes are manufactured in Copper Tube Size (CTS) between 15 mm (“1/2”) and 50 mm (2”) from Type IV, Grade I Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) compound with a cell classification of 23447 as per ASTM D-1784.
Their pipes are manufactured to be in strict compliance with ASTM D-2846 & 15-15778 meant for SDR-11 & SDR-13.5 CPVC specifications and to consistently meet or exceed the quality assurance requirements of this standard.
Their extensive range of fittings is produced as per SDR-11 and meets the requirements of ASTMD-2846M. Their pipes have a maximum service temperature of up to 93o c and a stress of 2000 PSI.
APL Apollo CPVC Pipes also come in Iron Pipe Size (IPS) from 2 1/2” to 4” which meets the requirement of SCH-40 and SCH-80 of ASTM F-441. Our range of CPVC Fittings is manufactured as per SDR-11.
