The Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) Excise Inspector Recruitment Notification is expected to be released by the board on their official website the.
The recruitment exam is conducted to enlist the most deserving and the fittest candidates for the post of PSSSB Excise and Tax Inspector.
For this, the board will conduct the PSSSB Excise Inspector selection process in two stages: the written exam and the interview.
- The PSSSB Excise Inspector salary structure that has been set for the post ranges from Rs. 10300- Rs. 34800 + Rs. 4200 Grade pay. Any changes in the salary for 2023 shall be notified.
- The candidates can apply online for the PSSSB Excise Inspector Recruitment 2023, only if they fulfill all the eligibility criteria, such as being between the ages of 18 and 37, having a graduation degree as the minimum qualification, and more.

Punjab Taxation Inspector Selection Process, Paper Pattern
The PSSSB will select candidates on the basis of their marks in the Written Examination and Interview. The candidates have to pass the written test to appear in the Interview process.
The written examination will be conducted in offline mode on OMR sheets across the state. The detailed paper pattern for the written test is provided below:
- The written examination will be 100 marks.
- There will be mainly four parts to the examination.
- The candidates will get a penalty of .25 marks for wrong answers.
- Applicants will get a 01 mark for the correct answer.
- Applicants will get 02 hours to solve the written examination.
