Whenever a person finds himself alone, then as a natural reaction, he starts looking for companionship.
Whenever they are in trouble, they look for someone to help them.
Whenever they reach an impasse, they look to someone to show them the way out.
Every recurring pain, longing. And desire finds its special helper.
For those who come to me in distress, I am merely a medium in their endeavor to appease the demonic forces with prayers and offerings.
This is not the right way at all and should never be followed.
One must understand the difference between a fear-ridden vision of destiny and a vision that enables us to seek within ourselves the enemy of perfection.
I remember my father used to start his day at 4 in the morning.
By offering Namaz before dawn. After namaz, he used to go to a small coconut grove owned by us, about 4 miles away from our house.
He would return with about a dozen coconuts tied together on his shoulder, and only then would he have breakfast.
This remained his routine even when he was in his late sixties.
Throughout my life I have tried to emulate my father in his world of science and technology.
I have tried to understand the fundamental truths told by my father, and I believe that there exists a divine power that can lift one above confusion, sorrow, sadness and failure, and guide him to his right place Is.
And once a person breaks his emotional and physical bondage, he is on the path to freedom, happiness and peace of mind.
I was about six years old when my father started the project of building a wooden boat to carry pilgrims from Rameshwaram to Dhanuskodi (also known as Sethukkarai) and back.
