The State Government of Kerala started Ayyankali Scholarship schemes for the development of SC-category students. In this scholarship program, students will get selected on the basis of a talent search examination. This scholarship scheme has been launched by the government to provide financial help to poor students in the state.
Ayyankali Scholarship has been announced by the SC Development Department Government of Kerala. Students who belong to the SC category can apply.
Under the scholarship program, students who are studying in classes 5th to 10th standard will be benefited.

Objective Of Ayyankali Scholarship
The objective of the Government of Kerala behind the Ayyankali Scholarship is to search the talented students in the SC category and provide them with monetary support. This scholarship program will help the students in completing their academic qualifications up to the 10th standard.
Benefits Of the Ayyankali Scholarship
Selected students will get monetary benefits as described below
- The scholarship amount of rupees 4500 per year
- Rupees 2000 will be given to purchasing furniture for the student whose parent’s annual income is not more than Rs12000
- Students will get rupees hundred per month for having nutritional food.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be a permanent resident of Kerala state
- Applicant should be a student studying in class 5th to 10th standard from a recognized School by state or Central Board
- The annual income of applicants’ parents should not be more than 1 lakh rupees
- Applicant must belong to the schedule caste category
