  1. Prior approval from other ministries
    1.1 Foreign filmmakers seeking permission to shoot a feature film to be screened/broadcast outside India shall approach the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.

  2. Security Clearance of Locations

  1. Granting Permission
    4.1 Film shooting permission in respect of Indian nationals will be processed and granted by the Chief Public Relations Officers of the Railways/Units concerned. 4.2 Film shooting permission in respect of foreign nationals will be initially processed by the Directorate of Public Relations, Railway Board.
